Opening of Neil Brownsword: Obsolescence and Renewal

Join us for the opening reception for Neil Brownsword’s exhibition Obsolescence and Renewal. This exhibition is the latest of Brownsword’s investigations into the marginalised histories of North Staffordshire, focusing on its early industrial growth. A combination of digital imagery, 3D-printed objects, large-scale tapestries, slip cast objects and museum artefacts, the exhibition explores how materials and techniques familiar to one medium are applied to another.
