Cabochon Stone Setting, One Day Workshop

For those new to stone setting/jewellery making or for those with experience needing a reminder of basic skills. You will be taught how to make a bezel setting to set a Cabochon gemstone. More experienced students will be encouraged to create a design that uses a more experimental/creative approach and think about incorporating unusual shapes or cuts of stone. All materials included.

With classes being in a professional workshop environment, things can get a little bit messy so we suggest that you wear old clothes and closed toe shoes. If you have long hair – bring a hairband! It might also help to bring a notebook, pen/pencils and a container or small tool box to keep your work in. Due to the nature of workshop, we cannot permit any one under the age of 16 to take part in the classes unless assessed and agreed in advance by the tutor.
