Dobby & Rose was founded by Rebecca Harvey-Browne in 2017, teaching Weaving Workshops and creating Handwoven Homewares in her barn studio in Churt.

After graduating with a First Class Honours in Woven Textiles, Rebecca went into the Textile Industry for ten years, working for prestigious British interior fabric company, Colefax & Fowler.

Realising teaching was a passion alongside her love of Textiles, Rebecca founded Dobby & Rose and started her Weaving Workshops, allowing others to experience Weaving and to pass on this Heritage Craft.

Rebecca is now also working alongside schools and the education system, to offer diversity to the curriculum and allow Weaving and Crafts to thrive once again.
