Shodō – Japanese Calligraphy on Wood

Experience the art of Shodō, traditional Japanese calligraphy. Using a brush pen and ink, write one or two kanji characters on a wooden board to take home. Participants learn about balance, flow and expressive movement while exploring a centuries-old cultural practice.
