Artist Jon White is facilitating a 3 hour Creative Journey in Modern Kintsugi. The art of Kintsugi embodies new beauty made through imperfections. It’s an artistry of mending broken pieces through gold, symbolically representing how brokenness in our lives can transform to places of beauty. Instead of hiding chipped and broken parts, when imperfections are pronounced, symbolising the light, you behold something that’s more beautiful.

In this “Kintsugi Experience” we’ll share a time of personal reflection with one another and beholding as we apply Modern Kintsugi techniques to a vessel we’ve brought with us. All participants are encouraged to bring their own broken vessel (not glass) and will receive all the materials that are needed.
