Jane Browne

Jane is a tapestry weaver, watercolour and collage artist. Tapestries are views drawn from local landscapes. She paints the scenes on site then returns to her studio to translate the subjects into intricately woven images using varied, coloured yarns to add depth, texture and atmosphere.
Jane’s paintings are usually flowers drawn in ink with subtle watercolour washes.
During the Craft Month Open Studios event Jane will be demonstrating her work. Tapestries and paintings will be on sale as well as a collection of greetings cards.
